\nfor us. But this summer we would do well to remember that, however
\nit may seem, the devil has been bound by someone strong, and his
\n\u2018kingdom\u2019 is being plundered.<\/p>\n

\nobeying him, and by loving and serving one another, confident that
\nVictory-Day is inevitable.<\/p>\n

\nThe Mullingar Union of Parishes will host a 3 day summer Holiday
\nKids Club from the 19th<\/p>\n

\nAt the 10am service on 14th June we were delighted to announce that
\nSilver Chukwuemeka has come on board as Youth and Children\u2019s
\nMinistry Intern for the year ahead. This is very exciting news for the
\nunion! It is an opportunity for us as a church family to give opportunity
\nfor Silver to use and develop her ministry gifts, and for Silver to
\ncontinue to pass the faith on to the next generation. Please pray for
\nSilver as she takes this ministry on.<\/p>\n
\nIt was a great joy to witness a number of our young people make their
\nConfirmation vows at St. Etchen\u2019s, Killucan, on 7th June. As we
\nwelcomed Bishop Pat into the parishes for the last time it was great to
\nsee a full house. There was great singing during a heartfelt service.
\nCongratulations to Cecily, Sam, Tom, Eve, Lily, Scott, and Erica. Please
\nkeep them in your prayers as they continue to grow in faith and
\nembrace the baptismal vows which they have now affirmed for
\nthemselves.<\/p>\n
\nCongratulations to Cecily Guinness Von Maltzan, who was baptised
\nsurrounded by friends and family at Almoritia Church on 26th May
\n2026. Please pray that Cecily would continue to grow in the faith into
\nwhich she has been baptised.<\/p>\n
\nJoin us in Almoritia Church at 7pm on 23rd August for our Summer
\nSongs of Praise service. It would be great to see you there \u2013 and why
\nnot bring a friend!<\/p>\n
\nOn 30th August, at 10am, in All Saints\u2019, there will be a united service of
\nHealing & Wholeness and Holy Communion. All welcome from around
\nthe union, and beyond!<\/p>\n
\nMany thanks to Mrs Denniston, and the rest of the wonderful staff at
\nAll Saints\u2019 NS for another year of hard work and dedication as they
\neducate our children. We pray for everyone involved in the school as
\nthey take a well-deserved break, and for the new junior infants and
\ntheir parents as they get ready for the 2026-27 school year.<\/p>\n
\nAfter a united service in All Saints\u2019 on 31st May, we met in the Greville
\nArms for our Vision and Mission forum. Many thanks to all who took
\npart. A tremendous amount of information was collected which will
\nhelp shape the direction of travel for our parishes in the years ahead.
\nWe are still working through the information and the results will be
\nshared before the end of the summer.<\/p>\n
\nOn Sunday 21st June at morning service in All Saints\u2019 we held a
\nthanksgiving service for a year of Sunday School. It was a lovely
\ncelebration as we thanked God for his provision in the year gone by.
\nAnna Kiernan gave a heartfelt report on what went on in Sunday
\nSchool over the year, and thanked all the teachers, the children and the
\nparents for making it happen. Many thanks to the whole church family
\nfor supporting and encouraging Sunday School. I think everyone will
\nagree that it benefits the whole church \u2013 not just the children! Please
\npray that the leaders get a good rest over the summer and that we
\ncome back even stronger next September.<\/p>\n
\nWe have had a great year of coffee mornings. Each coffee morning has
\nbeen a lovely opportunity to get together to support great causes.
\nMany thanks to everyone who has made these special occasions
\nhappen, and to all who have come along during the year. We will be
\ntaking a break for July and August but plan to return in September.<\/p>\n
