Dear Parishioner(s)

Parish Remembrance Service – All Saints’ – Sunday 9th July 11.00 a.m.
The Parish Remembrance Service is a very important occasion in the life of the Parish. We gather together to remember our loved ones who have departed this life, and also former Rectors and parishioners of the four Parishes – All Saints’, Killucan, Kilbixy and Almoritia. I warmly invite everyone to this Service. Those who have been bereaved will be especially welcome and are assured of our continued sympathy and comfort.

Parish Concert in aid of Mullingar Hospital – MRI Scanner Appeal The Concert held on Saturday 17th June was a wonderful occasion. We were enthralled by the Dublin Airport Singers and the special soloist Mary Flaherty. The concert very well supported and to date we have raised just over €6,000. The Hospital is a very significant part of our community and deserves our fullest support. To everyone who supported the event and gave so generously, may I offer you my most sincere thanks and appreciation.

Members of the Select Vestry 2017/2018 The members of the Select Vestry for the coming year are: Watson Mills, Violet Medforth, Annie O’Leary, Billy Small, Vivienne Mullingan, Arie Gorissen, Arthur O’Neill, Brigid Geoghegan, Christopher Manzira, Mark Potterton, Richard Williamson, Jean Kilmartin, Emma Coburn, Doreen Lynch, John Hales, David Webster, David Miller, Robin Aust, Hazel Scully, Pat Tipper and Patrick Pilkington. We thank them for agreeing to serve and wish them well in their year of office. See Details of Select Vestry and notices of meetings and updates here

All Saints’ National School The End of Year Service which was held on Sunday 25th June was a wonderfully inspiring occasion. The school is such an integral part of the Parish and we are so blessed with our Principal and teachers. I would like to thank the Principal and teachers for all their teaching and commitment, the Parents Council for its’ invaluable support, the parents and of course all the children who attend the school.  For those who are leaving this year, we wish them well as they begin their Secondary School education and we look forward to welcoming all the new children after the summer.  I would also like to thank Mrs. Denniston, our Principal who spoke so well at the Service and whose address was so appreciated.

Holy Baptism We welcomed in to God’s family through baptism, Ada Keane. We pray for Ada, her parents and godparents as she begins her journey of faith.

Bereavement We offer our deepest sympathy to David and Catherine Gibson-Brabazon and their family following the death of Catherine’s Aunt Frances, in Scotland. While Catherine’s Aunt Frances was a great age, her presence and love, up till the very end, was greatly valued by all the family. Following her peaceful death we pray that she may rest in peace and rise in glory.
